Kerry-Anne O’Kane
Kerry is a graduate from the University of Lincoln with a First Class Bachelor of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. She studied for three years and won the Health and Social Care Award from the University of Lincoln and is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). Her interest in Chinese Medicine and Culture began at a very young age when she discovered her love for martial arts and the balance it brought to her life. Since then her knowledge and interest in holistic therapies has been growing and lead her to become a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist.
While studying for her degree, Kerry wrote an independent study on the effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture on Chronic Asthma; she also has keen interest in mental health conditions treated using Chinese Medicine. She has great experience working with a variety of patients and has treated a wide range of complaints. She prides herself on being a very thorough practitioner, ensuring every detail has been taken into consideration when forming a diagnosis and treatment plan. Guasha, Tui Na, cupping and moxibustion are used alongside her acupuncture treatments to support them where necessary.
